VRC Awards

Communities thrive on the hard work and dedication of volunteers. Nowhere is this more present than on Prince Edward Island, where the spirit of volunteerism shines brightly with community organizations accomplishing so much with limited resources and funding compared to other provinces. These organizations and their dedicated volunteers have enriched the lives of thousands of islands for many years, providing essential services that would not otherwise be available.

Join us in celebrating these unsung heroes by nominating volunteers for the Annual Outstanding Volunteer Awards, returning after a 3-year hiatus. The selected volunteers will be honoured at the VRC’s breakfast gala on Saturday, November 18th, 2023.

Let’s recognize those who make our community thrive. Nominate a volunteer today!

Volunteer Awards

Starting in 2012, the VRC has held an annual award ceremony recognizing Outstanding Volunteers from across the province. Though we wish we could have recognized outstanding volunteers in our community in 2020, the COVID-19 global pandemic put a hold on our plans.

This will be the first time in three years we have our breakfast fundraiser. We hope you will join us!
